Meet Dania

I’m a holistic psychotherapist who works with children, teens, and families as they navigate emotional, relational, and developmental challenges. Some families come to therapy seeking a supportive space to better understand their child’s inner world or strengthen communication at home. Others are facing transitions, behavioral struggles, or patterns that have become difficult to shift. And sometimes, people simply need someone to talk with - when worries, anxious thoughts, or difficult feelings have started to feel too heavy to carry alone.

Whatever brings you here, I offer a calm, creative, and compassionate environment where growth and connection can take root.

With over a decade of experience in diverse settings, I’ve supported young people and their caregivers through experiences of anxiety, trauma, identity exploration, and emotional overwhelm. My work is grounded in a deep trust in every child’s and family’s innate capacity to heal and thrive - especially when they feel safe, seen, and supported together.

Why Makan?

Makan (مكان) is the Arabic word for place – a space to arrive, to be, to belong.

This name reflects the heart of my practice: a grounded, relational space where healing can take root. Here, you’re invited to come as you are. Whether you're in the midst of change, feeling unsure, or carrying concern for a child you love, Makan offers an environment that is calm and creative, where you're met with presence, care, and deep respect.

Beyond the physical, Makan also evokes an internal and emotional space, one that honors your family’s story, pace, and process. It’s a space where the sacredness of showing up is held with intention.

I believe that meaningful growth begins in safe relationship.
